so, i have to first apologize to dma, scotty, and dma for not updating my blog and making everyone worry that i've fallen off of the face of the earth. to update everyone, here's the skinny: the wink-wink nudge nudge position in an east coast state fell through. for the better though. more later. however, the farm is in full effect (land deed being processed as we speak). put in your vote for a yurt location and we'll accommodate. you may turn into a hippie though... but it'll be a good hippie. not the kind that form software companies.
amanda and i (with the extraordinary help of charles) have put in a fence (crappy cell phone picture attached). spring has sprung and boy, am i glad. we've put a few plants in the ground as well as totally revamped the back "yard". our next project is to put in a custom pond. more shoveling for me... our flowers (roses, poppies, and irises) have rewarded us with a lovely palette of colors (not adequately captured by my cell phone). btw, i'm going to get rid of my cell phone soon (don't want to kill all the bees) so skype will be the best way to reach me (id:joeyjoejones). work proceeds as usual, weekends come and go way too fast. but you already know that. once we get the back yard finished, we'll have a sangria party (all invited of course...). scotty and sandra, my application for a workshop in lucerne also fell through for this summer. next year, i'll be in portugal in june. i'll make it a point to visit then.

"more shoveling for me..." C'mon Joey, you know you love the shovel and all you can shovel with it! Thanks for the update. Glad to hear the garden is looking spring-y (can't wait to see the yurts). Sorry to hear that all of the projects have fallen through. Would've been nice to climb the Pilatus with you again this summer. Give our luv to Amanda and Foxie-licious.
Awww, the little piglet has come home. Dma has been sooo worried. Great to see that things are alright despite all things going cuckoo. We would love to see this farm project! Maybe we can rent a plot to become weekend farmers? Luv luv luv!
