ahoy there me laddies (and ladies). methinks many tides have passed since i last scrawled my mark on this page. too long actually- dec 3 the new blogger tells me. well, a quick post to satiate those who follow along (scott and sandra especially! :)). lots has happened obviously which is why i haven't updated lately. a few things i can't mention in public yet (work related moves etc) but for those in the know, you will know when we know!
also, i just had another paper come out on a new species of hagfish that we discovered on the Easter Island cruise in 2005. Oceanus (WHOI) has a nice write-up on it here:
